- Christmas holidays: from Saturday 23 December 2023 to Sunday 7 January 2024.
- Carnival holidays: from Saturday 10 February to Sunday 18 February 2024.
- Easter holidays: from Saturday 30 March to Sunday 14 April 2024.
- Pentecost holiday: from Saturday 25 May to Sunday 2 June 2024.
- Summer holidays 2024: from Tuesday 16 July to Sunday 15 September 2024.
There are no classes for the following holidays:
- December 6, 2023 – St. Nicholas Day (for preschool and primary education only).
- May 1, 2024 – Labor Day.
- May 9, 2024 – Europe Day / Ascension of Christ.
- May 20, 2024 – Trinity Monday.
- June 23, 2025 – Official celebration of the Birthday of His Highness the Grand Duke.
Interesting fact! None of the monarchs of Luxembourg were born on June 23. This day was chosen as the most convenient for holding holiday celebrations. It was established as the official birthday celebration of His Highness the Grand Duke on December 23, 1961. This holiday was first celebrated in 1962.
